Heath’s Nursery Room

So when my husband and I found out we were having a boy, we knew we wanted to make him an awesome room with old wood and deer horns but still keep it a little modern with clean lines and colors. My husband really out did himself…. He wanted to make a little corner porch that the crib would sit on.  All the wood was taken off my great great grandparents house that is starting to fall apart.  We thoughtRead more

Classroom Auction Project 2014-2015

So I came up with this “brillant” idea at the first of the school year.  Little did I know it would take me 5 months to complete, ha!  I tend to do that though, I guess I always love a challenge. I wanted to take the ALL 30 kid’s silhouettes and turn them into a quilt.  Using the freezer paper stencil idea like I showed in my previous post, I ironed the freezer paper into 11″ squared fabric. I used Sew Caroline’s Gleeful Lively Buds for the main dress and Micheal Miller’s Navy Eyelet for the yoke.  You can find all the fabrics in my shop.  I just loveRead more
